Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer at Royal Caribbean International, leads the visionary teams behind the cruise line’s groundbreaking experiences. Overseeing product development, he collaborates with experts in architecture, engineering, entertainment, and more to create innovative concepts for Royal Caribbean’s ships and private island destinations, including Perfect Day at CocoCay. His leadership drives the design and execution of game-changing features on ships like Wonder of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas, as well as the development of the highly anticipated Icon Class, set to debut with Icon of the Seas in 2023—Royal Caribbean’s first LNG-powered ship, marking a major step toward a clean-energy future.
Schneider has also spearheaded Royal Caribbean’s digital transformation, introducing seamless technology to enhance the guest experience. His initiatives, such as Muster 2.0, have modernized cruise operations by eliminating inefficiencies and creating a more convenient, personalized journey for travelers. With more than 20 years of experience in digital innovation, including a leadership role at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Schneider continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible at sea, ensuring Royal Caribbean remains at the forefront of cruise innovation.
